Delta Kinetic offers a full range of motion simulator solutions for training, entertainment and research purposes. All our technology is designed and built in-house in our manufacturing facility. That means being able to prorotype quicky, build bespoke simulators and scale up to commercial production when required.
Actuators optimised for motion simulation
All Delta Kinetic motion simulators incorporate our proprietary electromechanical actuators. Their fully ball-raced mechanism and high powered BLDC motors deliver the high force/load capacity ideal for motion simulators. Maintenance requirements are minimal. As a consequence, you can look forward to years of trouble free performance, even in high use settings. Our crank and linear actuators are also offered separately for organisations looking to build their own motion simulators.
Versatile platforms to accommodate any habitation
Our 3-DoF, 4-DoF & 6-DoF Motion Platforms form the base on which to build the required habitation. Standard decks are sized to accommodate a one seat vehicle cabin, but can be made to any dimension required.
Our 3-DoF & 4-DoF platforms support 750 kg payload, enough for a 2 person vehicle or multi-person platform. The 6-DoF platform starts at 1000 kg, but is easily scalable for any payload. This makes them ideal for very large platforms and full cabin simulators.
We also offer 4 off-the-shelf partial cabin simulators designed for driver, pilot & coxswain training:
- Racing/driving simulator: a reclined driver position to suit training for all cars, including racing cars and blue light vehicles
- Truck simulator: an upright driver position suitable for HGVs, LGVs, buses, fire engines ambulances
- Powerboat simulator: for coxswain training for all powerboats, including RHIBs
- Flight simulator: for pilot training for aeroplanes, helicopters and fighter jets
Modern & easy to use motion software
Actuate Motion software is incorporated into all our motion simulators and provides the interface between the simulator and the software programme. Modern and easy to use, it natively supports many commercial titles. Moreover, it has an extensive SDK, including plugins for Unity and Unreal Engine 4, which allows integration with almost any software.
